These KTM / HUSQVARNA bronze collar bushings have the same dimensions as the original OEM ones.
For 2019*, 2020, 2021 KTM & Husqvarna Tpi (250 & 300)
The electric starter system on these KTM & Husqvarna models is a know weakness. This is why the OEM launched a service bulletin to inspect and clean the starting system every 20 hours or once per year. The main root cause of the failure is the weak original bushing made of Teflon. These OEM bushing wears quickly leading to axial clearance, which causes damage in starting system (Bendix and/or crown wheel). And in a worst case, may create big damages in the engine casing.
An easy solution, to improve the reliability of the starter system, is to replace the low quality OEM bushes with precision-made improved bronze collar bushings. Made to a higher tolerance, from phosphor bronze, these bushes are self-lubricating and maintenance-free.
This kit contains 3 bushings for 2019*, 2020, 2021 KTM & Husqvarna TPI (250 & 300)
Instructions to perform the replacement are provided in the kit.

* Some 2019 bikes have 2 long bushing, others a long bushing in the crankcase and standard (short) in the ignition cover. This is why this kit includes two long and one short in order to cover all options.
